The Bhaktivedanta Archives has worked diligently to be true to the mission of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, serving the future generation of Vaisnavas by conserving not only treasured items but by continuing to provide for their dissemination. It is no overstatement to say that the impact of these vital programs is needed more as time goes on. Over 1,000 Bhaktivedanta VedaBase® are used throughout the world, and many more users of the Bhaktivedanta tape, CD, and MP3 ministries are benefiting from these efforts in their spiritual life. However our work does not end there, publications like the annual Vyasa-puja book showcase the images that make that annual publication so special and of course, all other ISKCON and BBT publications access images from our collection.
But as time goes on, these items will be at risk. Papers and books printed on acidic pulp papers will become brittle and eventually crumble to dust. Color pigments in slides will fade into blue and magenta, The emulsions used for magnetic tapes with deteriorate.
To prevent the loss of these items, the Bhaktivedanta Archives needs your support in its efforts to conserve and preserve.
